What christmas means to me. To me Christmas is an exciting time. I love the whole holiday spirit! Christmas is something that I look forward to all year long. To me, Christmas is more than just gifts and cookies and fat men in red suits. Christmas is a time of reflecting and giving. Christmas is about a little baby that was born in a barn (also known as a stable).
In my opinion savior, Jesus Christ, was born on that day. I believe that he was born to save me (and everyone) from a life without him forever. Let's start at the beginning. The God of the universe created you, me and everything else that you can see (and even what you can't see-like other galaxies). Everything was perfect in every way, but as is often true, our ancestors messed up. They sinned and brought sin into the world. Then everything wasn't perfect any more. Since the world and everything in it was no longer perfect, God, who is perfect, could no longer have a relationship with humans (since they were not perfect anymore). I believe that God decided to send his only son Jesus to come and be the bridge between God and us. God sent his son as a baby (the one born in the barn) to come and live and eventually die for our sins, so we can have a relationship with God again. Jesus was born in a barn and died thirty-three years later on a cross just to save you and me and everyone.
Christmas is the celebration of Jesus and his birth. That is why I give presents, to remind me of how God gave us the perfect gift. I love how it feels like Christmas long before it actually is, because that makes the holiday seem more special and also to last longer. This is what Christmas means to me.
Merry Christmas...!
Have a blissful one.
